When we started to play together many years ago we had few different names and some other people
involved in our band. We got rid off our second guitar player and noticed that this is the best
line up possible.
Before Forno micro-ondas we had a band called Cola Panther. Same line up but slightly different
kinda songs and...attitude. Cola Panther made few demos for our own purposes and we played many
gigs here in Oulu. One of the best gigs was when the owner of the club where we were playing
pulled the plug off and Antti broke his amplifier.
Cola Panther also appeared on compilation cd. Four tracks of noisy guitars and all in all..great songs.
4-6.12.98 were great days for Fm-o. We had a gig in Russia. There was hundreds of peoples and
they had built this huge stage with dozens of sparkling lights and smoke effects. Kari broke
two guitar strings and try to guess..did he bring any extra strings with him? Of course not :)
We had a great gig and some radiostations interviewed us.
We have a demo cd-r which is a couple of months old. You can order it if you like from here.
Now we all are busy as bees at work but we try to find the time to play some rock and roll
every now and then. Now it would be nice to play as many gigs as possible all around Finland.
And maybe some day you and I have our own copy of Forno micro-ondas' debut cd.
